The Club's U11 orange ball girls' tournament was won by Olivia Hall who beat Sophie Dix-Perkins in a thrilling final 6-7 7-6 7-5. The boys' competition was won by Jacob Gray with Alfie Hoare as runner-up.

The summer season opener was held in glorious sunshine on Sunday 11th May and marked the official opening of the new clubhouse (see picture). The format was  a social mixed doubles points competition with Frances Fielding and Richard Hoare emerging as winners. After the tournament a picnic lunch was enjoyed outside the clubhouse as the Juniors arrived to play their  competitions.

Jonathan Jagger (right) won the Road to Wimbledon U14 Boys' competition beating Nick Farr 6-4 4-6 10-7 in a close fought final. Cameron Knapp came third and Freddy Hoare was fourth. The girls' competition was won by Victoria Burr who beat Elizabeth Good 6 -3 and Lucy Jeffrey 6 - 2 on the way to victory.

Andy Evans celebrated his 60th birthday in style organising a hugely successful doubles tournament with club members and friends followed by drinks and food in the Tudeley Oak. The winners were Marcel and Colin who beat Mark and Gis in the final - a superb performance by Gis in her first appearance on the courts for three years. One mystery remains though - who was the mysterious lady named Gloria?
